Aromatically the port is almost mysterious and not immediately expressive with dark, intense spicy, black fruit flavours on the nose which show again on the palate but with greater complexity as bitter dark chocolate and cherry liqueur flavours appear. Very balanced and elegant, this LBV possess an excellent acidity which reacts well with the residual sugars transforming it into a rich and generous port.
