Dark garnet with still-bright edges, like most Cahors it does not show its age obviously. Strong bouquet of crushed blackberries and ripe blueberries, hints of dark cherry, spices and mint; full, pleasing flavors with plenty of fruit still showing along with light, secondary notes of leather and cedar; big, full mouth feel; nice acid levels, tannins still prominent but pleasing and with a bit of dust on the medium-length aftertaste.
