It has ruby red gradually shades into warmer, less intense tones as the wine ages.stylishly elegant, mingling the variety’s restrained signature florality with more assertive Mediterranean fragrances carried on the frequent north-easterly Grecale breezes. Discreet but pleasing wafts of wood-derived aromas from the Slavonian oak casks used for maturation. Intense, warm and well-structured. Substantial ripe red berry fruits nicely complemented by tertiary notes of spice from bottle ageing and by well-developed tannins. Lingering retronasal aromatics.
