From the village of Bennwihr on quartenary alluvial soils. The holding size is 7.4 acres, and the average vine age is 45 years. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts in foudres. The wine spends one year on the fine lees in foudres. Bottled with low sulphur levels (21mg/l free sulphur). The residual sugar is 4 g/l, and the alcohol is 12.5%. A vibrant wine, with beautiful citrus acidity. Mineral, fine, young, and energetic.
